Adjunct Piano Instructor
I'm Andrea! I am a recent high school graduate and am a student at Eastern Florida State College. I was blessed with the opportunity to dual enroll and was able to graduate with my AA, and now I plan to pursue a degree in microbiology. I will be taking some of my classes at Eastern Florida but am doing the rest online through the University of Florida.
In addition to school, music has also been a very important part of my life. I have been playing piano for 9 years. I am a former student of Sarah Robertson, having taken lessons from her for 6 years. By age 12, I had already completed all of the Faber method books and began standard literature. I studied additional theory through the TheoryTime course. By age 14, I was playing on an early advanced, collegiate level.
I continue to enjoy piano and have been playing keyboard in my youth group’s praise band for two years. These experiences have grown my love for the piano and have also expanded my musical interests to guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele.
Sarah Robertson has been and continues to mentor me as I have ventured out into the exciting world of teaching piano. Currently, I am also actively involved in my church. And in addition to the praise band, I have enjoyed being able to serve in Awana Clubs, missions, and vacation Bible school.
I am excited to be a part of Robertson House of Music, and to have the opportunity to spread the joy of piano to others!
